Previously I emphasized the ethical and legal issues linked with the usage of pirated software. Today I want to address another aspect of the problem. Although all of us fear the legal repercussions of software piracy, the majority of us don’t bother about the spiritual repercussions. In this episode, I want to mention a few. You may choose to agree with me or disagree. Nevertheless, the word of God is relevant to all times. When God says something is wrong it is always wrong and when he says something is right it is always right.

When the Computer became a standard Electronic Equipment in business, home, and even Church, software piracy and using pirated software also became a widespread issue either because the consumer couldn’t afford legitimate software or didn’t want to spend on software as much as he spends on hardware. Although we don’t address the sin of using pirated software from the pulpit, it’s a widespread issue in the Christian community also. Keep on reading to find out why and how to deal with it.

Fighting the presence of Pornography and Nudity on Social Media

If piggybacking is art, the devil is a Picasso. Remember Acts 16:17? Fast forward to the year 2020, and the strategy is still working. In this blog post, I wish to share how the devil is pushing pornography and nudity through Social Media today by overrunning Facebook and Instagram with porn and other sexually charged images or videos. Modern-Day Computer Games and the Occult

Most of the modern games we see today are essentially feeding programs, for occult, witchcraft, and violence. There is hardly a game in which the players do not indulge in murder, arson, torture, rape, sorcery, witchcraft, or highway robbery. I felt compelled to write this article to create a state of awareness in the Church after realizing the degree of risk caused by these supposedly harmless software programs.

The Titanic: God didn’t sink it!

A photograph taken underwater that shows a ship that has sunk beneath the water's surface.

It is quite common to come across Christians who proudly assert that the sinking of the Titanic was a deliberate act of God. Their claim stems from the fact that just days before its maiden voyage, an employee of the White Star Line, the company that built the Titanic, arrogantly declared that not even God Himself could sink the ship. Additionally, they argue that the name “Titanic” is derived from the term “Titan,” which refers to giants born of gods in Greek mythology, and therefore consider it blasphemous. Surprisingly, even seasoned preachers and pastors with years of ministry experience can be found passionately proclaiming this belief from rooftops. However, I strongly disagree with this viewpoint because it contradicts the teachings found in God’s Word and distorts His true character. Allow me to elaborate on the reasons for my argument.
