Text: Mark 5:25-34
Introduction
Surely every person desires to possess inner peace and security. There are many factors in life which may rob us of such peace. One of these is sickness. It is difficult to maintain inner peace when one is plagued by serious illness. The mind is filled with uncertainty and despair.
Here is a story of just such a person. She has been sick for twelve years. Though she had visited many doctors, none had been able to help her. In fact she even became worse.
Then one glorious day, she met Jesus Christ. Through this wonderful encounter, she was instantly healed of her long-standing sickness. She was also blessed with a deep sense of inner peace.
This same Jesus can also bless your life today. Let us look into this story and discover how she received her healing and how you too can be healed!

Introduction
Preaching God’s word is amongst the greatest privileges entrusted to us. It is also one of our greatest responsibilities. Through preaching God has chosen to reveal himself to man (1 Corinthians 1:21, NET) . This knowledge of God, is able to lead man to eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is also able to transform them into the image and likeness of God (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Therefore any Preacher who doesn’t take time to prepare prior to the delivery of a message, is guilty of being unfaithful to God’s calling. Let us see why preparation is important for a Preacher?

Introduction
Though today's Bible study is based on Matthew 14:13-21, we must understand that it is related to the previous verses. I have given the first part of the verse below. First read it carefully.
"Now when Jesus heard this (When He heard of John the Baptist's death) he went away from there privately in a boat to an isolated place. But when the crowd heard about it, they followed him on foot from the towns…." Matthew 14:13-21 (Emphasis mine)
So as we see that the first crisis (disguised as persecution) breaks out in first 12 verses of chapter 14. And the rest of the narrative explains how Jesus responded to this crisis situation? Let's see what can we learn from this story.
