Introduction
Let us consider what does the word ‘deliverance’ mean? To be delivered means to be set free from bondage, usually someone who has been subject to an oppressing party. A much biblical definition would be releasing people, who live in bondage to sin and Satan.
Therefore deliverance is important. In this message I am going to show you three major truths about deliverance.
A. Always Satan or sin is the root cause of bondage
1. Demonic spirits could cause sickness, (Luke 11:14)
2. People are in bondage of sickness due to sin, (Mark 2:5)
B. Jesus is the only source of freedom
1. Jesus came to give life abundantly, (John 10:10)
2. He has destroyed the Satanic powers, (1 John 3:8)
C. You can be set free from bondage
1. You are free if you believe, (2 Corinthians 5:17)
2. All you have to do is to obey, (Hebrews 5:9)
3. The grace of God is sufficient, (Romans 3:21-24)
Conclusion and application
Simply believe in the love and grace of God available through Jesus Christ. Pay attention to what shared with you now and submit yourself to the healing power of God.
