The wider gate

Introduction

How to avoid the wider gate and enter by the narrow gate?

1. Stop compromising,  Matthew 7:13a

A. Do not conform to the nature of this world (Deuteronomy 26:18, Romans 12:2).

B. Don't do what the majority is doing

C. Always weigh your principals with God's word.

 

2. Be willing to sacrifice your self,  Matthew 7:14

A. It's easy to live a compromised Christian life.

B. People will reject you because you are different. (John 16:33b)

3. Do not be deceived, Matthew 7:13b

A. Sin is attractive  (Proverbs 14:12).

B.  Our wisdom sees only the tip of the eyes berg.

4. Be faithful and wise, 1 Corinthians 9:25

A.  Life is a journey.

B. Be faithful to God in this journey.

C. Be wise to choose the right entrance (Luke 6:46-49).

Conclusion

Which gate will you choose?
