Shamgar was just a farmer. But God used him. What can we learn from him today?

Text: Judges 3:31

1. Shamgar responded to God's calling positively

A. Shamgar was a farmer not a warrior, but he made himself available for God's service.

B. Shamgar did not give excuses.

C. Obey God's calling whole heartedly.

2. Shamgar identified and used his gift

A.  Shamgar killed Philistines using his ox-goad not a sword.

B.  God has given a gift to everyone.

C. Identify your gift and use it for God's glory.

3. Shamgar was a spirit filled man

A. Anointing comes upon what you already have.

B. The Holy Spirit helps you to get the best our of your gift.

Conclusion
