The Virtual Preacher

Write for us

We are always looking forward to give an opportunity to volunteers who can write good quality content for The Virtual Preacher. Please contact us if you would like us to consider you. Providing details of your own blog or a link to some articles you have written previously would be an added advantage though not compulsory.

Guidelines

  1. Please note that your writing must compliment biblically approved theology and sound doctrine. (Statement of faith)
  2. Your article must relate to one of these categories: Sermon outlines, Sermon notes, related articles, Bible studies, Bible study tools, Christian PowerPoint presentations, Church software and technology, Contemporary issues, PowerPoint sermons/Studies,  Software Bibles, Useful Christian Web sites and Blogs, Worship Ministry.
  3. Your article must be completely original and not published anywhere else.
  4. You grant a license to The Virtual Preacher to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You may, however, republish the article offline – e.g. sell it to a magazine or contribute it to a book.
  5. It is OK to link to your own blog if it is relevant to do so. However, you should not write articles around topics to justify a link to your blog and you should not actively encourage visitors to visit your blog. Please keep in mind you get a link to your blog, Twitter profile etc – at the top of your posts.
  6. You may not include any affiliate marketing links or obvious self-promotional content. If you are writing about a church/Christian product it should be limited only for an introduction and a review. If you want to promote a product through our blog you can always check for an available ad slot or ask us for one.
  7. The post must have at least 1 image (for the thumbnail). Posts  that are reviews of products/apps/web services should be supported with relevant images and screenshots. To include images please make sure they are cropped well and then put a direct link to the image right in the post via a hyperlink; We will upload the final image for publishing.
  8. We blog about free and semi commercial products only. For example you can publish an article about Gmail here because it’s free. You can also blog about the free edition of Google Apps but not about their commercial editions. But you can’t blog about AOL at all because it’s not free.
  9. Your article must have correct citation on all copy, content, and media.
  10. We have the right to accept or reject a particular article.
