God is interested in your career; He’s also interested in how you do it. The truth is, your prospects for the future are determined by your work ethic. For the next few days let’s look at some work habits from the book of Proverbs to avoid or acquire if you want to be successful in your career. Today we will look at laziness. The Bible says the following about lazy peoples.
1. Procrastinators
They always say “Tomorrow definitely I will do it.” But tomorrow never comes, (Proverbs 24:30-34)
2. Difficult
Lazy people are difficult people to get alone with. They complain, cut corners, cripple businesses and cause hardship, (Proverbs 18:9)
3. Quitters
They quit before the job is finished. His track record is filled with unfinished projects, (Proverbs 12:27)
4. Excuses
Lazy people have very credible excuses. They don’t hesitate to produce ridiculous excuses when they run short, (Proverbs 22:13; 20:4) Whatever you do, do it conscientiously. Don’t let laziness rob you of success.
