I believe that so many are concerned with the riches of this world that come to nought. They do not realize the riches of this world are corrupted. The treasures of the earth will be corrupted by moth and rust, but treasures of heaven are eternal. Many are so blind because of their lust for earthly riches. If we are going to glorify God, we, like John the Baptist, must overcome our lust for earthly treasure.
